Picking Up or Removing Items From a Police-Towed Vehicle

We apologize for any inconvenience any of these may cause due to our legal obligations to protect the owners property that we possess.

To pick up or retrieve items from a police-towed vehicle, You must have or be one of the following for us to allow you to do so:

• REGISTERED OWNER:  Proof that you are the registered owner of the vehicle.
• (License & Registration)

• LISTED DRIVER ON ACTIVE INSURANCE POLICY: Your name must be listed as a driver on the vehicle's insurance.
• (You must Supply a Copy)

• NOTARIZED LETTER FROM REGISTERED OWNER: If you are not the registered owner, a notarized letter or power of attorney stating "your name" may pick up "said vehicle".
• (Original Not a Copy or Emailed)

• INSURANCE PAYOUT ORDER: For vehicles declared a “total loss.”
• (IAA, Copart, Etc.)

• REPOSSESSION ORDER: For authorized lienholder repossessions.
• (Hold Harmless, Bank Paperwork & Copy of Title)

• Please Note: If owner is deceased you will need executor or administrator of estate paperwork, a death certificate alone legally is not enough

Release Forms Are Required For Vehicles Towed By The Following Departments:

• West Bridgewater Police Department
• Easton Police Department

Additional Easton Police Tow Information:

For Easton Police tow releases, a meet-up is required. Please call at least 30 minutes in advance to arrange your vehicles release.

Holiday & Weekend Police Releases:

If you’re retrieving your vehicle on a holiday or weekend and no one is present upon your arrival, assistance will be sent to you.

Please Note: Bring your own tools, Sorry but there are no tools loaned for plate removals & such but we'll provide this service if needed.
